Welcome to the brand new Fantasy Movie Podcast website!  Now the blog won’t suck.  Who hoo.  Note that the podcast RSS feed will not change!  So no reason to change any subscription options.  The url won’t really change either as long as you have http://www.fantasymoviepodcast.com or http://fantasymoviepodcast.com bookmarked.  If you have the old libsyn address bookmarked (http://thepoweroffriendship.libsyn.com/)  please update your bookmarks because that site will no longer be updated.

We now have a competent commenting system on the blog! There are threaded comments, you can reply to one another, get notifications from other people who have replied to you, spellcheck your comments, have gravatars, etc.

The blog also is nicely indexed with podcast categories, tags, and an episode index listing what topics we cover in each episode.

We also have a FORUM! There’s not much there right now, but I hope we can grow it into a nice little community where people can chat about fantasy movies, tv series, and books.

I’ll use both services to give everyone a heads up when a new episode comes out.   I know episode releases have been sporadic lately.

I, the amazing Kasey (that should be my new title), made a guest appearance on The Midnight Movie Club.  My guest appearance is on their special segment “Three of the Best”.  I did three of the best dorky fantasy movies.  I originally did three of the best Studio Ghibli movies, but there were technical difficulties in that one.  So I made up another one on the fly (because I’m amazing).  It starts at 51:18 on the recording, but I recommend listening to the whole thing.  The two hosts have great repartee with each other and their selection of nostalgic movies are pretty closely aligned with many of the shows we review here.

I was kind of nervous (it was my first time guest starring) but I think it came out alright!

The super mega wonderfully talented SprinklexEater  has gifted the podcast with a new Itunes and  Album art  Icon!   Isn’t it pretty? We don’t have to use the ghetto pink and black icon anymore! Yeeeahhh!   We’re like all grown up now and stuff.   With  UNICORN POWAHH!
